Privacy policy
Last updated 14 October 2026
This policy explains how MezzeData collects and uses personal data through this website, and the rights you have over it. We take your privacy seriously and aim to comply fully with Isle of Man data protection law, which applies the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the Island.
Who we are
This website is run by MezzeData Limited, a company registered in the Isle of Man (company number 134367C), with its registered office at Cayman National House, 4-8 Hope Street, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM1 1AQ. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
If you have any questions about this policy or want to exercise your rights, email privacy@mezzedata.com.
What we collect and why
When you contact us
If you use our contact form or email us, we collect the details you give us:
- your first and last name;
- your email address;
- your phone number, if you provide it;
- your message and anything else you choose to tell us.
We use these details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go on to work with us, to manage that relationship. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
When you browse the site
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors. Our hosting provider also keeps short-lived technical logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site secure and working.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers that help us run the site and reply to you:
- Vercel, which hosts this website and provides the analytics described above;
- Resend, which delivers contact form messages to our inbox;
- IONOS, which provides our email, where enquiries are stored.
We may also share personal data where the law requires it, for example with a regulator.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where personal data leaves the Isle of Man, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses approved for that purpose.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to us working together, we delete it within 90 days. If it does, we keep records for as long as needed for that work and for any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Analytics data is held in aggregate only.
Keeping it secure
We have appropriate measures in place to stop personal data being lost, misused or accessed without permission, and we limit access to the people who need it. If a breach occurs, we will notify you and the Information Commissioner where we are legally required to.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your personal data;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
- ask us to transfer it to you or to another organisation;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To use any of these rights, email privacy@mezzedata.com. There is usually no fee. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we aim to respond within one month.
Complaints
You can complain at any time to the Isle of Man Information Commissioner (www.inforights.im). We would appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us in the first instance.
